Opel Kadett C GT/E
While Dealer Team Vauxhall (DTV) was using the Chevette in
the British Championship, Dealer Opel Team (DOT) was using

Opel Ascona B
The Opel Kadett co-existed with the Ascona B as a Rally car.
Ultimately the car turned into to the Ascona 400. Click on the

Opel Ascona 400
The Ascona 400 was the last rear wheel drive car to win the
Drivers World Championship. Click on the link below to find

Opel Manta 400
The Manta 400 was the less successful replacement for the
Ascona 400. It never won a World Rally (it came very close)
but was very successful at National Level with drivers like
Russell Brookes Jimmy McRae, Bertie Fisher and Andrew

Cavalier Mk3 Super Touring in the early 90’s
The Cavalier MK3 is the Cavalier that most people associate with
Vauxhall and Motor Sport. Was a very successful car driven by
various drives between 1990 and 1995, but most famously by John
Cleland who’s most memorable line was “The Man’s an Animal”. Click

Cavalier Mk1 Dragster
Clive Skilton is famous as a Top Fuel Dragster pilot, but like
many other British racers of seventies, he also raced a funny
car in order to run more often. One of Skilton's funny cars
used in 1975/76 was a Cavalier Mk1 bodied car. Click on the

The Chevette HS and HSR, Vauxhall Homologation Specials for

Vectra B Super Touring in the late 90’s
Vauxhall replaced the Cavaler Mk3 in the BTCC with the
Vectra B. Technical more advanced, the car created by RML
was not as sucessful as the Cavalier Mk3 though it did win
races. The last season of Super Touring Regulations was 2000.
